joy madison’s collage sparked a stitching session for me this week…
I have stitched for years, and much of my home-making and beautifying includes stitches I’ve made, one way or another.
Reawakening a deep Love… rifling through my wonderful materials and threads stash….making choices, going where I am drawn… the trance of bringing a stitching into being… using a base painted ages ago: thinking and Dreaming while working rhythmically; about Home, and Being at Home, and Making Myself at Home, and experiencing how sometimes areas need intensive attention to bring them on through, and sometimes leaving it be is what’s required… ahhh, Thank you, Joy! xxx
