article: Feeling At Home | written down

I stamped dark blue and purple paisley MM stamps on the background, and brushed over it with gel medium blended with red acrylic, the facing page was brushed with the same mixture, then stamped on with clean stamps to lift the paint. The little house is a collage of photos I had around, of my cat, my husband, my quilts, my shelves, laid face down on tissue prepared with gel medium. All the writing was done with a sharpie.

I grew up with embassy parents, so home is a complex subject for me.
