I really don’t like this one, it didn’t turn out very well. I think I may try something else.

I used my images as a base and then did my journalling on platinum vellum which gave it a really pearly kind of look. I like the texture of it all with the colors peeking out.

is my school. It is the place that I work, my husband works and our oldest daughter goes to school. Next year our middle child will be there too.


my journalling is hidden in the folded note that says pull. I thought that would be cute and it turned out well. Thanks for checking it out. :)

I really loved putting this one together, googling artists I love is great fun and reminded of pictures that I’ve loved and almost forgotten.
the right page is a greyed out copy of the left one with some thoughts on why these great artists matter to me.

Finally catching up!! How are the rest of you getting on?
Just a fun page with me venting my frustrations on the use of mobile phones on crowded commuter trains, BIG pet hate of mine!

i spend most of my days in my studio doing what i love to do…creating and writing. spending this much time by myself means that the voice i hear the most is my own.

becoming comfortable with the quiet — the “being” instead of “doing” all the time — is something i ran away from for many years because living in a solitary and reflective world leaves us with nowhere to run or hide. while it may be frightening and painful at times, i think it is necessary for us to live in this place in order to become more of who we are meant to be.

so i’m listening to my own voice these days…overhearing the conversations with myself; trying to push the negative voices aside and listen closely to my own truths…and i’m finding that my own conversations are the ones that are the most interesting to hear.

I decided to just do one page for change. My life changes daily… some things I change, some others change for me. I have a LONG list of things I’d like to change for myself.

So I decided ‘why wait’... when I found this in a magazine ‘Today’s the Day’. Because it seems for me each and every day is a day for change

Oh I LOVE Quick… I think I can be called the Queen of Quick! The faster the better for a project so I can make MORE stuff.

I also JUST got paints… decided I really was not going to mix paint colors (I learned how this past fall… Brenda… want some paints??)

So I did a little paint & the stickers say QUICK…then journaled off the top of my head

I’m a bit behind, didn’t take my thing along on travel…but got 2 done, one more to go.

Inspiration is everywhere for me…love this vellum quote sheet, started with that then some writing on my inspirations
