Trying to load my title page

Have already posted this on the email thingy, but testing to see if I can do this.

I have to say, if this is what blogging software looks like, I have another good reason NOT to blog!

My Title Page

I do hope this works, I’m so computer illiterate! I couldn’t upload my pic here for some reason? (probably coz I’m dumb LOL) so I’m hoping to be able to pull it in from somewhere else!

Oh well if all goes well, this will be my title page for the Learn Something New Every Day Class.

My Album didn’t work out as I had hoped, the page protectors didn’t fit it! And then all my cardstock was WHITE (so I coloured it all in by hand LOL) AND I have no Inspiration Stickers!

Apart from that everythings fine ~ Well we have yet to see, but I hope it is.

I’m glad to be here anyway, and excited about the coming month.

Title page

Just seeing if I can upload to the blog….

Title Page

Created using Crate Papers paper and tag, bazzill card stock and various stickers and rubbons. I am really looking forward to taking part in this class and am itching to discover what is in store for tomorrow.

Pat S title

My title page, can’t wait to make Day 1!

The ART of being here

My husband and I are doing the art journal together. These are pics from our nine years of being together. Our three year old daughter, four month old great dane, and characters from the aquarium make an appearence. We brainstormed words that describe who we are and where we’ve come from and we put those on the leaves. The poetry excerpt is a favorite of my husbands.

The Art of Being Here

Here’s the poem:
Through my history’s despite
and ruin, I have come
to it’s remainder, and here
have made the beginning
of a farm intended to become
my art of being here.
By it i would instruct
my wants: they should belong
to one another and to this place.
Until my song comes here
to learn its words, my art
is but the hope of song.

The Introduction

Week 18 - Life is lemonade

Well with this one I kind of went with the flow and I kinda like where I’ve ended up! A fun page without too much sentimality about Colin (my husband) showing me that life is a bowl of lemons, waiting to be squeezed into Lemonade, he has such a positive outlook on life!

17 - My Life Story

What a great band My Life Story were – if you’ve not heard of them that’s cos they weren’t all that famous, they had their 15 mins of fame back in 1996 ish, when music was a big part of my life… this is what my home made disc is meant to represent. This was a great prompt that I really enjoyed, made me very reflective, especially as I turn 30 this year… which is why I’ve written some thoughts on the reverse of the picture page.

Thanks for looking
