Prompt 3 Christmas Cards

Decided that I would update my christmas card list and make me feel a little bit more organised! Did it on the computer and printed out and it is now inside the envelope for future reference(saved on PC as well!)
Wish I had made the envelope out of the light cardtsock the xmas tree is on, but never mind.
the stamp is one I have used to make cards and I do like it o these colours so might make a few cards like that to send, if I get time.
Made the buckle from sizzix die used a fastenator staple for the bar.

3 Dec. 2006

I have completed my day 3 now. I am having so much fun. I actually made some Christmas cards today. This may not sound all that amazing, but I am horrible at mail and most anything having to do with mail… so this is quite an accomplishment.

To see and read more check my blog here.

mmmbisto's book

Finally got to start! Hurrah lol!

I had a whole bunch of Doodlebug supplies bought for me for Xmas last year, and it just made sense for me to use these supplies for my journal (although just had to buy some more little bits and pieces!)

Blog linked to my name ;)

Title page and December 2nd

Was out cropping yesterday and the prompt hadn’t arrived when I left so I did the title page while I was out and have done Dec 2nd prompt this morning, will be doing todays’ prompt this evening.
title page is Shimelle inspired. The 2006 is doodled and filled in with souffle pen, the diamond stamps by Limited Edition (same manufacturer as the circle stamps I’ve been using). Papers are Heidi Grace.

For the snowflake page – I DID try once again making my own snowflake but I’m afraid I’m hopeless at it, lol! Instead, I made a stencil with some snowflake punches and stencilled white paint and stickles through it to make the border. Stuck with the border page design as this is opposite page 1 but wil lbe trying out other things as I go along.

Day 2 - Snowflake sneeze

Finally, day 2 is complete – I have been half working away at my page and half assisting in an IKEA furniture assembly session…. :oS

Anyway, frightful weather today provided just the inspiration since it’s classic December weather right now! Ha.

I’ve uploaded bigger pics and journaling to the blog

December 1st

I had fun doing my first page. I made the boys pose for a picture before school then I design my text and photo. I printed a color photo on White Magic Vinyl paper then printed the journalling and a black/white photo with lowered opacity on Sheer Heaven paper. I used stamps by Technique Tuesday and Making Memories. Sweetwater Express paper and journalling tab.

Annie's Manifesto page

And the manifesto. Introducing my repeating elements of felt ric rac and the candle with the date on (although I didn’t date this one as it wasn’t a prompt, as such). Enjoyed playing around making the Christmas tree – very simple, but I love it LOL.

Annie's journal cover

At last, I am getting round to posting some stuff. I am up to date, honest, just hadn’t taken any pics before now.

Prompt 2 - The Weather

I have written what i hope for in the wetaher.
Background is paper loft and I’ve stamped a snowflake with acrylic paint and overstamped with Brilliance platinum planet so adds a bit of sparkle.
Printed the title onto vellum and used white gel pen on the reverse to highlight the title.
I’ve included one of my favourite stamps coloured with zig pens.

So enjoying this – of to do my Christmas card list now!
