Day 3 - Cards galore

I feel like I need a sugar hit after today! Who knew creativity could be sooo tiring! LOL

Anyhoo, I am finally up to date, which of course will mean that by this time tomorrow night, I won’t be! Never mind – I am kind of taken with this one. Just love the colours of the Carolee’s papers with the MM frame, and the AC ding rub-ons.

Short and sweet on the journaling. ;o)

Am just updating the blog with the close-ups and then I have to try and restore some form of order to the scrap hovel and wrap a present! No rest for the wicked or festively drained. hehe

Patience's Cover

This is my cover. It is a work in progress! The papers are all KI Memories. Flowers are Heidi Swapp, Doodlebug, and KI. The letter stickers are Doodlebug. The cover is sealed with Sparkle ModPodge, which adds glitter to the entire thing.

I decided to make my own book so I could adjust as needed. More ribbon will be added once the book is finished. The pages are 8 1/2×8 to allow for the binding.

Entry 2 - No Snow, just Blue skies!

I love snow, but haven’t had a white Christmas in years. So, I’ve taken a picture of myself with our blue skies, because I do love them! :-)

I had a LARGE cut out of a snowflake, which I placed on paper and inked around it with silver. Then I have a snowflake punchie, so I used it as a stencil and inked the flake, and also cut out snowflakes in silver paper and attached them …

Manifesto

My manifesto page. I am using 3 different digital kits on my journal pages: Holly Jolly kit by Nancy Rowe Janitz; Seasonal Sampler by Shabby Princess; and A Merry Season by Tracy Collins (Retrodiva). If I add anything else, I will credit that page.
I’m having so much fun with this journal! I’m really loving seeing everyone else’s work too – such great inspiration!!

my Day 2 page

Another simple page. I printed out yesterday’s forcast from the Weather Channel website and added it to my page. I used some snowflake paper from KI Memories, a circle label from Paper Source and some Heidi Swapp snowflakes. I also used a stamp from Paper Source.

Off to work on Day 3…
