I used watercolors and a sharpie marker for this, the snowflake is from a craft store colored in with glitter gel pens.

This was such a fun topic. Shopping is one of my favorite parts of Christmas. I love shopping for everyone else and trying to find just the perfect gifts. I really like how the layout turned out too; fun and full of bling!

I created ‘gift lists’ on tags for today’s entry. I am almost done with my shopping (only gift cards left to buy) so I filled in the gift information on stamped lines (stamps by fontwerks). I used manilla tags, a kraft tag and 7Gypsies 97% complete tags (I even included a ‘receipt’ tag that I can fill in later!). Just got the yummy wonderland Cosmo Cricket line in the mail so I used a bit of their papers on this one. TFL!

So here’s my response to the prompt for day 6 – the Christmas gift that never was.

And yes, that is a cabbage patch doll… what more can I say, I was but a child!

Here are my entries 3 & 4. I am not too happy with the way I’ve done the journalling on #4 but won’t redo it – had already redone it once because my stamping with the white stazon didn’t work out the way I wanted it to look.

I am actually incredibly happy with how this came together. I wanted to use those stickers in the worst way & they were a perfect fit for the page, so I went with some nontraditional paper instead of Shimelle’s suggestion to ink/paint/chalk.
