article: A Room Of One's Own | written down

This week’s prompt made me think of little corners in the house where one could sneak away for an hour or a day, creating, reading, etc. I collect photos of such nooks from magazines. I tried to transfer one to my page by copying it to B/W then using acetone on the back, but it didn’t transfer at all well (just got some blue shadows), so I just adhered the copy to the page instead.

I journaled a bit about these spots and highlighted the words I used in the layout.

I really like this because of the juxtaposition of words and photo. I wish the transfer had worked. Anyone got any suggestions on that? Next time I’ll use packing tape and try it that way.
