Today's SPARK
I had a lot of fun with this! I used an old typewriter that my mom recently bought me at a garage sale. It was fun to use. Thanks for looking!

Journaling:
I stand up and the first book I see is Miffy and Friends: Hide and Seek. Ok, this cracks me up because this book says so much about my life right now, children’s books are my main source of reading material. This is the first time I’ve used this wonderful old typewriter my mom bought me at a garage sale. It’s so awesome and I’m amazed at how well I can type on it. It is bringing back a lot of memories. I also am loving the sound of the keys. Ok, back to the main topic… The second book I pick up after changing directions is Living Out Loud by Keri Smith. I love this book. But this represents how I just have to have something and then I don’t follow through. It also represents my never ending quest to be creative and let go. Sigh. So I change directions again and walk to my desk, but I don’t see any books, if there are any books on this desk it would take years to find it. What a unbelievable mess. No wonder I can’t get anything done. I turn and look on my shelves, which are in pretty good shape, because everything is on my desk (tee hee), and the first book I see is How to Photograph Your Family by Nick Kelsh. This is a great book. I really want to be a better photographer. I would love a new camera, but I don’t know if I want to spend the $$$ on one and then I’ll have no more excuses. Hmm, decisions, decisions. My photography has gotten a lot better since I started scrapbooking, but I don’t really understand f-stops and all of that stuff. I’ve messed around with David’s old Pentax slr, the classic student camera and I’ve takend some great photos, but if I’m being honest the good shots were pure luck. This was a great SPARK and a fun thing to get written down.
