article: In at the Deep end... | written down

One of the reasons I joined this course was because I realised I was limiting myself by labelling myself as crafty rather than artistic. Of course it isn’t an either/or thing.

As I have written on my page, I have gone from working alone to social scrapbooking. I found the transition very painful, I don’t really like sharing my work or making myself vulnerable generally.

So I figured I could quite easily put off starting my journal and definitely put off sharing it. I thought I’d better at least do my cover page and share it as a warm up. The theory is now that I have started there is nothing to stop me carrying on. And there are still other ideas in Shimelle’s post for this week that I would like to explore.
