Sketchbooks
Someone asked about sketchbooks in the welcome comments….
For this, I’m going to just make it simple and continue using my “regular” journal, which I’ve been sadly neglecting of late. I have tried many things over the years and finally settled most of the time on a 7” x 10” spiral bound sketchbook with 70 lb. weight unlined paper and black hard covers. I keep it in a “SketchFolio” along with several pens and pencils, a skinny paintbrush, an eraser, a gluestick, and whatever arty odds and ends I think I might need. I need to add a small pair of sharp scissors as well!
The SketchFolio has a zipper pocket on the outside, a bunch of pen/pencil slots and a couple of elastic bands on the inside, and a place to insert your sketchbook. There’s carrying handles, a shoulder strap (removeable), and a snap closure (only thing better would be if it was a zipper).
So I’m ready to rock & roll, so to speak….
