article: week 2 - risk | written down

I wasn’t sure where to start with this one. Not usually a risk-taker, so I decided to begin with bleaching a favorite photo of my husband and daughter just after she was born. Journalled “snipits” about how my husband and kids are in many ways my “anti-risk”—a safe place to risk and be adventurous. Added some words & phrases I associate with risk, like “trust” and “to sing outloud”... I’m not crazy about the feel of this entry—so many layers and bits and pieces held together by glue and matte medium. The whole thing feels dark and kind of “out there”—so I suppose posting feels like a risk as well.
