my first *official* piece
Although I started a little late, I am just working through at my own pace. I have ideas on notes all over the place, but unfortunately, I am not always able to get to my supplies. (There’s something about bringing Modge Podge into the office that just doesn’t go over well.)
However, I finally have something ‘on topic’ to share. Here is my piece for last week’s prompt. I enjoyed playing with the products a little differently than I would if I were scrapbooking. Supplies: oil pastels (courtesy of Crayola – who would have thought), rub-ons, colored ‘walnut’ ink for the wash, and a chipboard flower. There is hand written journaling that weaves between the colored boxes (why I wanted to take this class) and running up either side of the piece (chase life, create a way, love God, and live your passion is repeated along the edges).
