article: whew first journal entry! | written down

finally! i signed up late and then decided to splurge and get an iona handmade joural. i used watercolors for the background and some glitter and some stuff thats like colored gold foil. the image of the women holding cat is part scanned image of a painting of me and my cat, belle that was done by a very talented artist and i love it so wanted to use it here. the poem is by dan walcott and i love the part about feasting on your life. i am not a scrapbooker or a paper artist, i dabble in artsy stuff but just casually and not often enough. i have loved looking at everyones art and i love the online format. thanks shimelle! im crossing my fingers and hoping this posts >^..<
