Day 9: Blending works!
We have been successful at blending our traditions … but I still struggle to surrender to his family’s traditions when we go there. My family has even blended my husband’s traditions into their own, so he will have a happy holiday … so when his family indicates zero interest in budging, it stings more than a little bit. My hidden, HIDDEN journaling talks about that struggle & how I am not letting it ruin my holiday this year.
