article: 8 September - Another's Happiness by Kel | written down

I have always loved the quote I used on this page, but on Friday, I realised how true it is. DH has been having a sad and thoughtful week for a variety of reasons. My Friday was completely overshadowed by my concern for him and my first priority was to rush home to him. People that know us as a couple know how unlike us that is – we are very fond of each other, but sometimes travel separately, which some people seem to find very odd and assume we are having ‘trouble’. Others think that I am perhaps a wee bit spoiled. DH always says “I have you forever, I can spare you for a week or two.” This week though I realised how important his happiness is to mine.
