article: Note to Self | written down

Today my group did a variety show at a nursing home
and the people in our audience loved our show. When
we sing songs that were special to them when they were
young their eyes just light up. One lady told me she
hadn’t laughed in a long time and it made her feel so
good. The lady in the picture lives at this home and
it just happens she was my daughter’s 4th grade
teacher. It made her so happy we remembered her.
The lesson learned is it doesn’t take a lot of work
to make a difference in someone life. In fact we
all sing, dance and do comedy because we love to
perform. That’s a win-win for sure.
