article: Life happens... | written down

My Note to self LO comes from me watching our new Year 3 children at school on their 2nd day. Such a big change for them and like so much else in life something that they have no control over. After a nervous start yesterday, today they were just getting on with things. I dried a few tears and gave a few hugs and then just stood back amazed as yet another intake of children just got on with life.

Some will need a little more support but if they can make the most of things then so can I.

I used the Forrest Gump quote today – Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.
