article: Learn to let go... | written down

I was determined to get this one finished tonight! (the scan has chopped a little off the bottom!)

I really didn’t want to do a gushy, “look-at-my-kid!” page, BUT..
my youngest Sam started to take a few steps yesterday!

This is a big thing for me as it means he is leaving babyhood behind and becoming a toddler. Sam will probably be my last baby so I’m feeling a little bit sad about this. The last year has been a blur and I feel that his precious first year has gone by all too soon. I added the quote “cherish family” because I really should savour every moment. I titled it “Learn to let go”, not only for Sam as he gains confidence in walking, but for myself also as my baby becomes a toddler.
