Posting two pages
I want to post two pages, one that I like artistically, one that I don’t care for “ART” wise, but at the same time means a lot to me from the personal side.
The first page, the one that I like, from an art point of view, was pretty easy. I took some really cool wrapping paper that I bought and then I played with acrylic paints in bright colors. In order to journal, I placed a piece of velum over the paper and wrote on that.
The second page, actually, I like part of it. I read an article in Sommerset Studio on using tapes… I have always wanted an reason and a place to try the technique. Again, I used some funky wrapping paper and a few stamps. That part I like, the actual hand writing… well… anyway. The words are what matter to me.
And, I wanted to post this for those few people who may think that they can’t draw or be artistic. I am not normally a big chearleader, but my point is if I can post this, and be proud of it… CAUSE I AM… you can do this too!
Anyway, the journaling was from the midweek spark, and I love the fact that my life was so very easily represented by three random books in my office.
“The Late Talker”, “The Complete Encyclopedia of Photography” and “Protecting Your Clients’ Interests.”
