article: Artistic Inspirations | written down

I had a lot of fun with this page and it happened VERY quickly. The background is pieces of paper towels that I had previously blotted my wet brushes on. I’ve been saving the “pretty” ones and thought the journal a great place to use them. Ironed out, strategically torn and adhered….I like it! The flower happened as I thought about the common denominators in art I enjoy. It’s more about emotions provoked than anything. I’ve been saving the quote on the stem for awhile and it perfectly summed up my thoughts on this prompt. All life is inspiration when you see it through an artist’s eye. Thanks for looking!
