Home Page: written down

Finally getting my feet wet

I have so enjoyed seeing everyone’s pages. I have not missed one. I have been a bit busy and fitting in my art here and there. I felt I didn’t have time to sit down and scan and post, etc.
Here are my supplies, although I have missed out a huge one in that, being a fabric journal this time, I have used my sewing machine on every page so far.

Here is my first page too. The writing continues behind the top envelope flap, which is easily moved. My address and postage to return the journal is in the little envelope.

thanks for looking, more later

Here’s finaly my week 2 pages!

I created the painting on the left in illustrator, but I still haven’t bought a new cardtridge for my printer. Decided to paint it instead with my mettalic acrylics. I always love to paint with them because of the nice shine they have.

Decided to stick to paint for the other page as well and used a silver marker for the text.

Take care! ;-)

I’ll get the hang of this yet!

Week 2 challenge - change

This is my take on the change challenge. Despite many things that have changed over the years, there are many interests that haven’t. This page reflects them, from the colour chosen to the items on the page. I’ll probably add more as time goes on. IRL it is tactile too – the fairy is drawn on vellum, the pyramids stamped onto soft handmade paper etc Even the printed pages are from a book I read as a teen that I recently reread and still enjoyed (don’t panic, the spine broke and the pages fell out!)

Week Two Being a Lefty

This is my entry for week two. My being left-handed is something I have always been and always want to be! I love being a lefty. The journaling is all about how I’ve met people and had great conversations solely based on each of us being left-handed :)

week 2 challenge

This page is still a work in progress. I am adding words that start with A,B,C to it. It is the last page I did.
This page is very traditional of my scrapbooking style. I almost tossed this, but the words really describe how I feel sometimes. I just want a do-over sometimes.
This page I created first. I did it on Monday, after getting my eyebrows waxed on Saturday. It is a stupid body part to dislike, but hey, I still have swollen brows! ;) Thanks for looking. :)Kim W
