Sept 3rd ~ Outrageous Grace

Here is my page for today (Sunday)

It’s coloured in (as usual! LOL) The top 3rd is black with “There’s a lot of darkness” written on it.

The bottom two 3rds are plain white with “But a lot more light” written and “Outrageous Grace” with a cut paper and distressed cross, two dove punchies, inked with silver, a small flower sticker and some tiny diamontes. Thank you for looking.

3rd September class - Beatrice

As any one who knows me will vouch I am a bit of a messy scrapper – but I like to think I know where everyone is – does this ring any bells with anyone?

I am also a bit of a gadget must have kind of person and “just have to have”. I saw a project using an oval frame punch – went out shopping for it – to more than one local crafty shop and it was only when I got home I realised I already have one!

So the moral of this tale is to organise your stash – don’t think I have quite learnt this lesson yet – but I am trying.

Papers used – 3 bugs in a rug rhapsody, happy and frenzy

Cold!!

Again I struggled to come up with something!

I was at a crop yesterday and I was freezing, so I guess the lesson learned was wear a jumper next time!

I really wanted to use one of the small quote stickers on this one, but didn’t think any were appropriate – I think the one I finally picked kind of works…

So far I haven’t worked out how to leave comments, but am loving what I’ve seen, and thanks everyone for sharing your work!

02 Sept

Loving how organised i am feeling for a change with my bags with cardstock and PP already for me – I’m sure it won’t last.

the text around the photo says ” They make me think of the little girl in the Clark’s advert White Horses by Jackie Lee” the minute i put the boots on i wanted to gallop around singing the song

Lemon Tart

I wondered what to do today, then I thought about the tart I was baking to take out to dinner tonight, it should have taken 50-60 minutes but instead too two hours!! Perhaps I should have made my lesson – it is easier for Gordon Ramsay to write a recipe than for me to bake it!!!

1st September

I really struggled with this one! Doing the page was fine but it was trying to come up with a “life lesson”.

Eventually I realised that just by making the commitment and getting organised for this class, you can make your time go further.

When I signed up for this I was a bit unsure as to whether I really would be able to get any of it done. My life is in a bit of a “guddle” at the moment and I feel as if there is never enough time to get anything done, never mind scrapping! However, the class has given me the inspiration to get organised, not just with scrapping but with everything else too – it has given me my spark back!

I took a photo of all my supplies organised in their box. I wrote “Time goes a lot further if you get organised!” and used the “do the impossible” sticker, as I really thought this class would be!

Good friends who we hadnt seen for ages came to visit and brought me these flowers from their holiday in Maderia. I learned that good friends are valuable.
