This all centres round the fact that I don’t do mobile phones. The worst invention of our time, in my opinion. So the journalling (on the concealed tag) reads.

“Now what you have to understand is that phones are just not a big thing for me. No pictures or ring tones or snazzy bits. Phone calls and texts and preferably as few as possible.

So my phone has been switched off nearly all the holiday. Even yesterday when DD went back to school. Today I figured I had best charge it up and turn it on in case school needed me. And I picked it up on my way out.

So on the way back from her first karate class smoke starts coming out of the dashboard vent. And I had my phone to call the AA and get DH from work to come and get her.”

So my learning point is that they may be the invention of the devil LOL, but they do have their uses, and BOY would I have been stuck without it as I was on the motorway at the time.

Hi again,

Here’s my page for today (Sept 6th) We had a chinese take-away the other day and I ate the fortune cookie late last night, now although I do not believe in fortune cookies or anything else to fortell my future, it’s little gem was still good advice.

“Never leave that till tomorrow, which you can do today”

I put this on a fortune cookie and mounted on chinese styled papers, it also opens to reveal journalling, the first time I’ve ever done that, so was quite proud of that!

I’d like to stick chinese coins at the bottom, that’s why I’ve left the space, but I don’t have any?

My negative lesson concerns a Senior performing group
of which I am the director. I want the singers to select
their own solos, but that can get me in trouble. Some
of the ladies want to sing solos that don’t have solo
voices. I hate to say anything negative to them, but
I want to have a great performance every time. Then
I think, everyone deserves a chance, so I grit my teeth
and let them sing. After all the group is for us as well
as our audiences, be gentle, show love.

I put a hidden message in that says something I always
tell myself at times like this, Any day I spend being
unhappy I miss 24 hours of Happiness.

well it took me all day and this is all I learned. In fact not even sure if I learned it or my feelings were just confirmed, love it, but hate it when it doesn’t do what I want!!!

I messed up a bit today, if you can do that?

IF I’d have given it some more thought before putting it together, I would have liked to do some hidden journalling on this page, but I started to stick everything down and ran out of space, once I’d realised I wanted to journal!

So if anybody has any ideas for me to journal PLEASE do let me know!

I’m so depressed today, My kid got arrested for shoplifting!!! (he’s always in trouble for something!) anyway this is all I could come up with??? I’d like to journal too, but now I don’t know where to put it?

My second OU course arrived today. After not studying since I left school (many years ago), I finally plucked up courage to sign up. This is my second course and I am loving it so far.

Managed to finish the album I have made to house my learning layouts. First time I have made a post bound album. Now I had better get on with today’s entry.

I guess we all learn lessons every day, but for me,
lots of them are connected to my two cats. I had
grabbed an extra towel to dry my hair and forgot
to close the door, giving a cat an opportunity for
a nice catnap. It also gave us a great laugh.
Proving once again, a lesson can give a good laugh.
