I have a feeling that one of my entries is going to be about posting here. I always post a ton of entries at once! I’m going to have to let this little tidbit marinate a bit and see what this teaches me….
Anyway, here’s my latest backlog.
13 September, I always have a ton of things to do in a day, and keep a running “to do” list that I just add to each day. I learned that I am getting everything done!! In spanish, todos means “all” so for me “to do” means “todos”.
14 September, I am a Miami native, and I’ve only lived in Atlanta for 3 years. At first I hated it: smog, no south americans, materialism, but on this day I seemed to have an “a-ha” moment and I learned that I actually like living here in Atlanta. It has really grown on me and I consider it home now.
15 September, my midway point page about me. I got a little doodly.
16 September, the hubs and I have a tradition of going to see the Marlins whenever they are in Atlanta. Just my little way of keeping Miami alive…but there is just something about going to a game on Saturday.
17 September, my little lesson for the day is procrastination…a lesson I am still learning. I don’t…sometimes can’t…get a page done everyday with my teaching schedule, so I use the weekends to catch up. But, I’m procrastinating on a much larger scale with a couple more projects. C’est ma vie!
18 September, I drive an hour to and from work everyday on the days that I teach, and any time I can find a shortcut, my life is made that much easier. Yesterday, I trusted an instinct and cut 5 min off of my drive. 5 min isn’t that much, but when you spend 2 hours in a car everyday, you take what you can get!
