problems?
Sorry to post this but I’m desperate! Has anyone else been unable to upload images ? I’ve been trying since Monday to upload a page and not getting anywhere.

HOME
Took a while to finish this…20 mins to make, but a few weeks to decide on my interpretation of the topic. I went with “I am my home” b/c I have been uprooted and replanted soooo many times. I never had and fear I never will have a true “home”, thus my issues w/ insecurity. So one of the things I have drilled into my head over the years is “I am my home, I am my home…”
Now I am married and have the opportunity to finally create the home I always longed for. But no matter what I need to remind myself it comes from within.

Home spread
This is the other side of my spread for the home theme. I really was going crazy with the peeled paint technique. it’s so fun to keep adding layer after layer and sanding some off. I guess I like the idea of feeling like I’m really putting a lot of work into the background so it’s like a canvas instead of paper. Thanks for looking

Break Challenge
This is a journal page about break or broken. I used different unmounted rubber stamps that I have for the woman and drew over them with a sharpie. The background is colored pencil, oil pastels, sharpies. The writing says: This material is indestructible…I’m no genius but I can sure bake pies….Do your own damn ironing!....Women wielding weapons is cool…..We sent all the pies out to sea….and there’s nothing you can do about it!....Pie in a bottle…100 percent witch approved. I had fun doing this page and I was trying to make it as playful as possible. Thanks for looking! posting close ups in a minute.

I’ve been trying to play catch up. This page is about my husband and I. I painted the background with acrylics, then added the papers ( BasicGrey & Making Memories), used the pear picture from a magazine. I printed the picture on a transparency and layered it over the paper. TFL!

monday
i know it probably seems strange that monday is my favorite day. I found the meaning behind the word monday and decided to go with that. I drew the moon and used watercolors for it and the background, stamped the title and used letters from magazines on top of the stamping. TFL!
